Mailing a gift is a simple and reliable way to support WorldServe. If your gift is intended for a specific campaign, project, or giving purpose, include a note with your check so our accounting team can process it correctly.

Helpful mailing tips
Include your contact information. Add your name, mailing address, email, or phone number so we can properly acknowledge your gift.
Note any gift designation. If your gift is intended for The Well, a campaign, or another purpose, write that in the memo line or include a short note.

For security, we do not publish bank transfer details online. Email our giving team and we will follow up with the appropriate instructions.
Donor-Advised Funds
Recommend a Grant to WorldServe
A donor-advised fund is a charitable giving account held by a sponsoring organization. Donors contribute to the fund, then recommend grants to qualified charities over time. If you already give through a DAF, you may be able to recommend a grant to WorldServe directly through your fund provider.
Useful note: Please include your name and contact information with the grant recommendation if your provider allows it. This helps us thank you and properly connect the gift to your intent.
Stocks or Bonds
Give Appreciated Securities
Gifts of appreciated stocks or bonds can be a strategic way to support clean water. Instead of selling an asset and giving cash, some donors transfer securities directly to charity. Because securities gifts can involve valuation, timing, and tax rules, please contact us before initiating a transfer and speak with your financial or tax advisor.
Before sending stock: Let us know the donor name, security name/ticker, approximate number of shares, gift designation, and the expected transfer date so we can identify and acknowledge the gift correctly.
Legacy Giving
Create Impact That Keeps Giving
Legacy giving allows you to include WorldServe in your long-term plans through a will, trust, beneficiary designation, or other estate planning tool. It is a way to help provide clean water for future generations while stewarding the resources entrusted to you.
Important: WorldServe cannot provide legal or tax advice. Please work with your attorney, estate planner, or financial advisor to determine the right language and structure for your plans.
IRA / Retirement Giving
Give Directly from an IRA
Eligible donors may be able to make a qualified charitable distribution, often called a QCD, directly from an IRA to a qualified charity. This can be a useful giving option for donors who want to support clean water from retirement assets.
Before initiating a QCD: Contact your IRA custodian and your tax advisor. Please ask your custodian to include your name and gift designation with the transfer so we can identify the gift.
Employer Matching
Your Gift May Go Even Further
Many employers offer matching gift programs that can increase the impact of your donation. After you give, check with your employer’s HR, benefits, or corporate giving portal to see whether your gift to WorldServe is eligible for a match.
Helpful tip: Your employer may ask for a donation receipt, WorldServe’s legal name, mailing address, or nonprofit verification details. Our giving team can help if you need documentation.
Fundraise for Impact
Invite Others Into the Mission
Fundraising can turn birthdays, community events, church campaigns, school projects, and business initiatives into clean water impact. If you want to rally others around safe water, our team can help you think through the best next step.
